  I purchased this cable for PS3 to 46″ Sanyou LCD. I get audio and no video. Do not buy this cable.

  Got this so I could play the PS3 in HD and the quality difference between playing on standard versus HD is incredible. A good example is in Dead Space the text logs were very fuzzy in standard but crystal clear and easy to read in HD. If you want to get alot more out of your PS3 I highly recommend it.

  If you has a tv of high definition, you need to connect the console PS3 with this type of cable to obtain a high resolution and to enjoy a great entertainment. It is a very good and cheap cable, besides necessarily for the lovers of the quality.

  PS3 HDMI Cable

  Simply put, I’d bought this inadvertently from Amazon, and I’m sorry I did. This was a very poor quality HDMI cable that I ended up throwing out and replacing with one purchased from Best Buy that hasn’t given me any problems…the other one was constantly causing the signal to break up because it had somehow become damaged or shorted right at the point where it connected to the PS3. My advice, stay away from Intec cables.

  I commented fairly extensively on HDMI cable technology about 16 months ago. Some people are having a problem with this particular cable. I’ve found through doing several hook-ups of friend’s and family’s systems that they were usually doing something wrong in the hook-up process. Typically, after installing the HDMI cables they failed to change the source input/ouput to HDMI on their TV’s or game consoles, or incorrectly matched the source resolution that best suits their TV. It is important to sync the hardware so it’s all on the same page.

  That being said, I won’t defend this cable. I don’t use it. I found Blue Jeans Cable to be perfectly suited for my 1080p setup. I use Belden bonded-pair HDMI 1.3a cable (apx. $4/ft) throughout my system. Moving to 1.3a or better will help to futureproof your system. And any decent HDMI cable will operate your PS3, so you don’t have to buy this one.

  This is my version of the Playstion 3 I bought in January of 2007 and I have own the PS1 & PS2 This is the model to get but man is it expensive now. Why do you want to get it because it play PS2 games as well as original PS1 games but don’t take my word it’s really about preferance cause there’s PS3 Wii X BOX 360 which I really hope to get a Wii there’s some games that look cool and so really I have

  That’s my collection I’m always looking for more PS3 games so leave a comment as to which PS3 are the best.

  If you look at the features of the PS2 and compare them to the PS3 the PS2 would fail but the PS3 is not all prefect itself Sony made some system made with no ps2 or ps1 backward’s support and the ones who do have it can’t play all PS1 games so pick your system wisely !

  came home one day after owning my 60 GB, crashed, no red light, nothing have since owned a 40 GB, upgraded the hard drive to 250 gb, and love it, its not worth the headache of having a PS2 inside it. From what I have read on Sony website forum and reviews this is one of the reason they stopped making the 60 GB, seems like they tried to cram to much into the 60 GB version. if you read the fine print on the warranty even on the new PS3’s there is only a 1 year warranty, had mine almost two years, the only one that actually lasted the longest was the 20gb, which was my first PS3 when they first came out had over 2 years, and loved it. Had the 4 usb inputs and ps2 built inside it, seems like the newer ps3’s are running much better. Which is def. a good thing.

  Supplement to high-end pc. Sony makes quality products. I own this and a PSP and both are high quality hardware.

  This is a great remote and worth every penny if you watch DVD’s and Bluray’s. My wife and I are members of NetFlix and get a ton of blurays. We’ve had this remote for over a year and haven’t had to change the batteries yet. It was easy to setup and is very easy to use. Since it uses bluetooth to connect to the PS3, you don’t even need aim the remote at the PS3 system. Just hit a button and it works every time! Highly recommend!!

  This is only for those who are not gamers or not acquainted w/ using the standard PS3 wireless DualShock remote, and for its purpose, this remote is a friend, which is highly arguable when one much rather uses the Dualshock. Nearly a four-star rating, to me. Moreover, this remote is more appealing if you can get it for less than $17. Setting (via the playstation 3 on-screen) is more or less easy, sort of. It comes w/ the same buttons as those on the Dualshock but added w/ much more DVDplayer type of buttons & control. Note that the Dualshock might cost twice as much.

  Have not had any opportunity to use it yet. From experience with other Sony accessories which I have no problem and everything well build and design.

  We originally had a PS3 40GB. We had it for about 9 months and then realized that it just didn’t have enough space to save all our games. So we decided to upgrade to the 160GB PS3. Boy do we have the space now. This is an awesome upgrade from the 40GB. The only Cons I have regarding this PS3 is that it just doesn’t have enough USB ports. Which the 40GB only had 2 as well as this one does. I just think that since Sony knows that you need extra USB ports to play other games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero they could at least give you 4 ports instead of 2. We just bought a portable USB port with 7 hubs which solves the problem easily.

  Since this PS3 is more GB’s it is really hard to find a Router that will give the PS3 enough juice to keep it from lagging. We have tried several different routers but haven’t not been successful at finding one that will keep this PS3 from lagging yet. We had some issues with the 40GB lagging but not as badly as the 160GB. I love the PS3 and recommend it to anyone who loves video games and is a Playstation fan. This is a Great investment!!!

  Ok, First the admission. I have an 80 Gb model PS3. This is a great bargain as it includes a fantastic game. I did purchase the Sony Remote for the BluRay capabilities, instead of using the controller. As for the lack of backwards compatibility with the PS2, doesn’t matter, as I have one anyway. In my Opinion, This is a good value, and with the release of Uncharted 2 pending later this year, would be an excellent time to buy this. AS for Uncharted : Drake’s Fortune, I have played through it and it was fantastic. It has a great replay value as you can go back and try and find the things you missed the first time through.   Games are great I realy like playing all the PS3 game. The PS3 console I should have shopped long you can get more if you loke at less. The PS3 60 GB has the ability to play the old games the 160 doesn’t. Some of the other models have memory slots the PS3 doesn’t.Great game but more isn’t better.
